What is PetScan?

PetScan is an advanced, user-friendly diagnosis registration system developed for veterinary practices in the Netherlands. It enables veterinarians to easily record diagnoses via a structured and intuitive interface, integrated into their Patient Management System (PMS). PetScan is activated free of charge after registering with the Expertise Centre for Veterinary Genetics.

Registration of diagnoses

Once a diagnosis is made, it can be selected from a diagnostic tree categorised by organ system. The selected diagnosis is automatically stored in the central PetScan database and saved directly in the patient's record.
