New bank protection for the Botanic Gardens’ fort moat
The bank protection of the fort moat at the Utrecht ľ¹Ï¸£ÀûÓ°ÊÓ Botanic Gardens is being renewed after 60 years.

Thermal energy storage system for Veterinary Medicine
A WKO installation will be installed in the eastern part of the Utrecht Science Park in the second half of 2024. This part of the installation will connect the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine buildings to this sustainable energy source.

Arboretum park
Amid the bustling developments in the Utrecht Science Park (USP), we are working on a green Arboretum park that not only connects but also enriches. The Arboretum Park will soon form a green link between the centre of the USP and the buildings in the Northwest Cluster.

Redevelopment Hugo R. Kruyt Building
The Hugo R. Kruyt Building is a step closer to a large-scale redevelopment. The Executive Board recently approved the project's initiation phase, releasing the necessary project budget. This allows the project to be further developed.

Development Transition Building
Utrecht ľ¹Ï¸£ÀûÓ°ÊÓ is looking for a market party to develop a laboratory and office building in the Utrecht Science Park.

Zonnepark A12 Bunnik
On the south side of the A12 motorway, between petrol station De Forten and the Houten-Oost exit, solar panels are being installed to generate sustainable energy. This project is a collaboration between Energie Coöperatie Bunnik and Utrecht ľ¹Ï¸£ÀûÓ°ÊÓ.

Dismantling Martinus G. de Bruin Building
The Martinus G. de Bruin building is being dismantled in a circular way.

SL2 provides space in Northwest Utrecht Science Park
SL2 is being prepared for the arrival of the Faculty of Science.The purchase of SL2 allows, among other things, the Hugo R. Kruyt Building to be vacated before the redevelopment starts.

Redevelopment Willem C. van Unnik building

Replacing dormer windows Marinus Ruppert building
From March 2025, all the dormer window frames in the Marinus Ruppert building will be replaced. New ones will replace the current window frames with single glazing with insulated glazing.

Redevelopment Buys Ballot building
The Buys Ballot building in the Utrecht Science Park is undergoing a major redevelopment. This redevelopment is necessary to improve the air quality and prepare the building for a sustainable future.

Sustainable renovation of the ľ¹Ï¸£ÀûÓ°ÊÓ Library USP
The ľ¹Ï¸£ÀûÓ°ÊÓ Library Utrecht Science Park is being made more sustainable and future-proof. In the summer of 2025, we will implement several energy-saving measures to make the building more comfortable for users and to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
