Utrecht ľ¹Ï¸£ÀûÓ°ÊÓ stands at the forefront of cutting-edge research in infectious diseases in humans, animals and plants, and building resilience against infectious threats. Our multidisciplinary research community unites expertise from (veterinary) medicine, biology, chemistry, and environmental sciences to tackle some of the world’s most pressing health challenges.

Within one square mile, the Utrecht Science Park harbors a unique combination of various public and private partners in infection & immunity research and care.

Our mission

Researchers of the UU faculties of Science and Veterinary Medicine, UMC Utrecht, Princess Máxima Center, ľ¹Ï¸£ÀûÓ°ÊÓ of Applied Sciences Utrecht, Hubrecht Institute and Westerdijk Institute share their knowledge and expertise to deliver a significant contribution to a better understanding of  infectious diseases  and improve the resilience of humans, animals, and plants against infectious threats.
