  • Autumn bingo

    This bingo game takes place in the Discovery garden. Look around carefully and search for the items shown in the photos on the bingo card.

    For children of all ages, costs € 2.50 for four bingo cards. Available every day.

  • Time travel in the Green time machine (in Dutch)

    A puzzle quest through time! We travel through 900 million years of plant evolution. Children are given challenging assignments and questions as they are guided through the Evolution Garden. After the puzzle quest, you can pick up a gift in the Entrance Building.
    For children aged 9 to 13, costs € 2.50 per person.

  • Clap along with Keesje Klaproos (in Dutch)

    This scavenger hunt goes from the Rock via the Bamboo forest and Tropical greenhouses to the Discovery garden and the Insect meadow. Along the way the children do all kinds of tasks, answer questions, jump like a frog and do puzzles. Suitable for children aged 4 up to 8, € 2,50 per person.
    Available every day.

  • How many different birds do you count?

    Our Birder's hide with special police glass offers a perfect place for close-up bird watching. Here you can see small birds like tits and robins. You can see them, but they can't see you so you can observe them closely while they eat the food we provide.

  • Op avontuur met Blij Ei (in Dutch)

    Join a scavenger hunt with Blij Ei and discover all about butterflies and other insects. After the scavenger hunt you can pick up a nice gift at the entrance to the Gardens. 
    Developed for children aged 8 up to 12, € 2,50 per person.
    Available every day.

  • Climb the Rock Garden

    Will you climb all the way up the Rock Garden? The top is up to 12 metres high!

  • Garden Lab

    You will puzzle with plants and learn how to recognise properties and characteristics of plants.

    Garden Lab is a family activity (in Dutch) on some Sundays during school holidays and public holidays, between 12:00 and 15:00. Check the programme for our schedule.

  • Join the expert (in Dutch)

    Come and join an expert to learn more about the bees, birds, and moths in the Gardens. The excursions are suitable for young and old.

    The Gardens are the perfect place for a picnic! Bring your own picnic basket or order a delicious lunch from Garden Café Botanica.
