What was your PhD about?
"My PhD focused on finding therapeutic strategies alternative to antibiotics to prevent orthopedic implant-associated infections. Specifically, we focused on boosting macrophages intrinsic antibacterial functions to clear Staphylococcus aureus infections."
What is your fondest memory of your time at RMU?
"Unfortunately, I did not stay long at the RMU headquarters, therefore I have to say that the RM retreats were the best moment when I could finally meet and know all the amazing people of RMU."
What are you going to do next?
"Venture to the dark side: industry. I鈥檓 applying for positions at companies here in The Netherlands."
