Service

  • Training for use of the FACSymphony A1 analyzer. (For researchers that do not have the time or are not yet fully trained, the FACS operator can perform the measurements and/or analysis)
  • All sorting will be performed by the FACS operator
  • Technical support on all machines
  • Daily startup and quality control
  • Consultation in experimental setup and panel design
  • Assistance with data analysis
  • Access to 2 different FACS analysis software packages

Analysis Software

Registered users at the facility have access to both Flowjo and FCS Express as part of our services at no extra cost. The software can be used after making a reservation in the booking system.

Charges

Users are charged an hourly fee to cover the costs associated with the facility maintenance. These costs include assistance, service contracts, repair and replacement costs, software licenses, additional facility consumables etc. Below the current rates:

BD FACSymphony A1 cell analyzer:

  • UU Faculty of Science:      â‚¬ 25,-/hour
  • Academia (external):        â‚¬ 90,-/hour
  • Industry:                               € 180,-/hour

Sorters (Aria Fusion & Large Particle sorter):

  • UU Faculty of Science:      â‚¬ 45,-/hour
  • Academia (external):        â‚¬ 90,-/hour
  • Industry:                               € 180,-/hour
