The biotech hub is an excellent environment to test a novel research question, to gather preliminary data, or develop tools for your research.
As a principal investigator engaged in one edition of the Biotech Hub, together with one of your team members (PhD student or Postdoc), you will get full support from the Biotech Hub technicians for testing your novel research question, collecting preliminary data, or developing the tools you need. You can plan this in advance with the Hub coordinator and make use of the technology available in the Hub. You will be directly involved in meetings with the students and will guide them in writing of their bachelor thesis, on topics of your and your teams’ interest (usually connected to the research project).
Also, aligned with the efforts from several Green Teams of Utrecht ľ¹Ï¸£ÀûÓ°ÊÓ, such as: Research in Sustainability - Green Team Pharmaceutical Sciences, we aim to include dedicated testing within the research projects, that will contribute to a scientific basis for transitioning to more sustainable practices within UU laboratories.
