Hi, I’m , an MSc student in Science and Business Management at the Faculty of Science. For me, entrepreneurship is all about turning creative ideas into real solutions while navigating risks and uncertainties. With my background, I see it as a bridge between science and industry—helping innovations in fields like biotech and sustainability make a real impact. I love seeing how new technologies evolve into products that change society for the better.

After being an active member of UU's Centre for Entrepreneurship, now known as Playground, for a year, I wanted to get even more involved, so I became a Playground student ambassador. This role allows me to represent my faculty and bring new ideas for events to support our entrepreneurial community. One of my favorite projects so far was organising a Debate Forum on the Neutrality of Science, which combined my two biggest passions—science and debating. This year, I’m excited to organise another workshop that connects debating more directly to entrepreneurship.

My best advice for students interested in entrepreneurship? No matter how small your idea may seem, take that first step. Experiment, take risks, and don’t be afraid to put yourself out there—you’ll be surprised at how much more creative and confident you become in the process.
