Participants discussed, at Utrecht ľ�ϸ���Ӱ��, the issue of rights of coastal States and other States, preparing for the UN treaty on marine biodiversity.

Scientists of Utrecht ľ�ϸ���Ӱ�� participated in a workshop on marine biodiversity of areas beyond national jurisdiction. The UN is working on a treaty on this.

Interested participants are cordially invited to submit abstracts by 30 March on how the law can contribute to the sustainable use of the oceans.
