Between 11 and 21 June 2019 NILOS and the Netherlands Institute of International Relations Clingendael ran the third edition of an intensive course on the law of the sea for diplomats from the ASEAN member states (Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam) and the ASEAN secretariat. The course offered a comprehensive overview of the law of the sea, case study exercises and negotiation trainings in an intercultural setting.
