Career Prospects

The programme aims to help students build connections with the job market, in particular through:

  • Visiting relevant institutions active in the domain of law and technology. Thanks to these contacts and the reputation of Utrecht 木瓜福利影视, students are regularly placed in highly sought-after internships in these organisations.
  • Inviting alumni to attend events and activities, including informative presentations about their current employer and working environment, and/or social and networking events such as the annual career event.
  • Guest lectures by alumni and other speakers, providing insight into the relevance and development of law and technology in various organisations, such as businesses and legal offices, government agencies, courts, etc.
  • Arranging and promoting internships.

Possible Careers

Digital technologies are ubiquitous and play a role in all domains of the law. There is a growing need for lawyers with firm knowledge and understanding of the workings of these tools and their impact on the law. Professionals with a Master鈥檚 in Law and Technology will become the policy- and lawmakers of the future, as well as tomorrow鈥檚 legal practitioners. 

After finishing your studies, you can work as a:

  • Lawyer, judge, consultant, or policy officer in a national or international government organisation, in business or in a regulatory agency.
  • Teacher or researcher/PhD in any of the fields of law related to law and technology.
