Opening Show

• The UU Welcome Week will start with the opening show at Tivoli! You will be welcomed by representatives of the university and introduced to different organisations that can help you find your way around.
• There are two different time slots, one from 10.00, and one from 12.00, make sure to check which one you were assigned to.

City tour

• After the show, you will get the chance to get to know the city and your mentor group a bit better! At each stop of the route, you will compete in a series of challenges for a special prize for your whole group! Plus, you can get a coffee along the way, on us ;)

Evening activities

Academic Programme 

• Your faculty will host an academic programme on Wednesday morning. You will get more information about the exact time and location as the Welcome Week approaches. 

Associations' market

• What are student organisations? Why and how should I join them? These are questions that will be answered during the associations' market, where several student organisations will tell you about student life in Utrecht and what they and the city have to offer!

Evening activities

Get Settled Lab

• The Get Settled Lab is an event designed to make your first days in Utrecht easier. You’ll go through a checklist of practical things to take care of, like arranging your admission, getting your BSN, opening a bank account, finding a bike, and setting up your access to UU facilities.

Culture workshops

• On this day, student organisations in Utrecht will host various workshops. You can choose between different culture-related workshops, including Dutch basics, vegan cooking, debate, and more. This is the place to meet people with similar interests, as well as the student organisations!

Sports day

• On this day, student organisations in Utrecht will host sport workshops, especially for you. You can choose between different sports workshops, including football, salsa and ice hockey! This is the place to try out a new sport, meet new people and get to know the student organisations!

Closing Event 

• Get together with your new friends and enjoy one last hurrah in the form of a chill picnic! More information will follow.
