Do you want to connect with other UU students before arrival? You can do so via Goin’ Connect

Find students who are:

  • Starting the same study programme

How can you get Goin'?

If you have been admitted to Utrecht ľ¹Ï¸£ÀûÓ°ÊÓ, you will receive a personalised registration link for the app. These links are sent on a rolling basis. You will receive your link within a maximum of 4–5 weeks after your admission. Please keep an eye on your email, as the link may be sent either in an individual email or as part of our pre-departure newsletters.

Please note: invites for students starting in February 2026 will begin being sent in December 2025, and links for students starting in September 2026 will begin being sent in April 2026.

Privacy

Because using this app is optional, Goin’ requires your consent to process your personal data. Goin’ needs to process certain personal data (name, e-mail address) to create a profile. Any other additional information you want to share is optional. Choosing not to do so will not prevent you from using the app. One-on-one conversations will not be monitored. Group conversations will be moderated by Goin’ employees to prevent inappropriate use of the app or if a student raises a concern. Your data and the content of your conversations will be stored as long as you are using the app. Once you decide to delete your profile or stop using the app, Goin’ will delete your data. Goin’ will of course let you know before anything is deleted. The UU has no access to student or account data in the Goin’ app. We do receive certain aggregated information about the use of the app, for example how many students from a certain country have created an account and information about popular discussion topics.
