On this page you can find the EMI-experienced test scores and the possible exemptions. 

EMI-experienced test scores

The following minimum test scores are required for admission to programmes requiring EMI-experienced level.

Please note:
*IELTS Academic and TOEFL iBT (including Home Edition) cannot be more than 2 years old.
鈥營ELTS Online and IELTS One Skill Retake are not accepted. Any English language test not mentioned in the overview is not accepted.

Exemptions

You are exempt from the English language requirements for EMI-experienced Bachelor programmes if:

  • You hold an International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma (with English A or B as final exam subject at either Standard or Higher Level); a European Baccalaureate (EB) diploma with English L1 or L2; a Dipl么me du Baccalaur茅at G茅n茅ral, Baccalaur茅at Fran莽ais International (BFI), Section am茅ricaine or britannique.
  • You hold a secondary school diploma or English-taught bachelor degree from one of the countries listed below. For secondary school diploma holders, please note that you must have a final passing grade in English according to the corresponding level below:

  • You hold a secondary school diploma or English-taught bachelor degree from Antigua and Barbuda, Australia, Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Bermuda, Canada (both French-speaking and English-speaking), Dominica, Falklands, Gibraltar, Guyana, Grenada, Ireland, Jamaica, Malta, New Zealand, Puerto Rico, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Singapore, South Africa, Trinidad and Tobago, United States, United Kingdom.
  • You have successfully completed at least one year of an English-taught higher education degree programme in any of the countries mentioned above or in any of the following countries: Anguilla, Botswana, Cameroon (English-speaking), Gambia, Ghana, Kenya, Lesotho, Liberia, Malawi, Mauritius, Namibia, Nigeria, Papua New Guinea, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Swaziland, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe.
