Sharing data
What happens if I share my data?
- Step 1 is for you to prepare your data, by removing all personal information and ensuring that variables have clear labels.
- Step 2 is for us, the MARBLES team, to harmonize the variable names with other datafiles in the archive, and to describe the content of your set.
- Step 3 is for us to safely store your datafile using Yoda (a research data management service for researchers from Utrecht 木瓜福利影视 and their partners).
- Step 4 is for us to provide your file with a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) containing you name and names of others involved in your dataset; this DOI is cited when the MARBLES archive is used.
- Step 5 is for us to merge your datafile with the ever-growing MARBLES datafile.
We also want you to complete a data transfer agreement. This agreement is needed if your data are transferred to the MARBLES project and includes information on how data will be handled, who has access, and for what exact goal data may be used. The agreement may include specific conditions under which you are willing to share your data.
