Q&A
No. The archive will not be openly available but safely stored with Yoda. If researchers wish to use data from the archive, they should send in a data request to the MARBLES key team. Data will only be shared with bona fide researchers. And data will only be shared for studies that have been pre-registered.
No. In the spirit of open science, once your data are part of the MARBLES archive, they are 鈥渙wned鈥 by the archive. Under surveillance of the MARBLES key team, they are open to be used by others.
No. Researchers who wish to work with the archive should use a combination of multiple sets; they will not be allowed to use any specific dataset (such as your set) to replicate your own studies or to perform secondary analyses on your set.
Yes, of course you can. Without any restrictions.
Anyone who does the work for the papers, but not necessarily members from the MARBLES key team or people contributing data to the data.
You contribute to the goals of the MARBLES project, the broader goals of the Global Network on Traumatic Stress, and the even broader goals of bringing bereavement research to the realm of open science. (And other than that, we hope that all those contributing data are willing to use the archive for doing cool research themselves!)
