In 2023, the scientific advisory board was established. Researchers from Utrecht ľ¹Ï¸£ÀûÓ°ÊÓ, Utrecht ľ¹Ï¸£ÀûÓ°ÊÓ of Applied Sciences, and Wageningen ľ¹Ï¸£ÀûÓ°ÊÓ provide both solicited and unsolicited advice to the Research & Education Hub Utrechtse Heuvelrug.Workshop Integrated Knowledge Base for System Restoration Utrechtse Heuvelrug & Surrounding Slopes (2024–2025)
In this first workshop organized by the Hub, stakeholders were brought together with researchers from Utrecht ľ¹Ï¸£ÀûÓ°ÊÓ, Utrecht ľ¹Ï¸£ÀûÓ°ÊÓ of Applied Sciences, and Wageningen ľ¹Ï¸£ÀûÓ°ÊÓ. The goal was to identify the variables that should be measured to monitor the vitality of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug system. Under the guidance of UU experts, the system was mapped across a broad range of themes using system mapping techniques.Utrecht Time Machine (2024–2025)
The cultural history stories of three estates on the Utrechtse Heuvelrug are being incorporated into the Utrecht Time Machine application. Utrecht Time Machine is an initiative by Prof. Dr. Toine Pieters of the Freudenthal Institute at Utrecht ľ¹Ï¸£ÀûÓ°ÊÓ, which aims to make the history of Utrecht visible and tangible to a wide audience.
