Ecological (In)justice

The Ecological in/justice community unites scholars from the humanities and beyond who work on justice and ecology, broadly conceived. Our research includes topics such as interspecies justice, climate ethics, ecocide and the limits of capitalism.

Beyond the wide range of topics, we also aim to employ a wide range of methods and approaches, including ecofeminism and Indigenous knowledge. We actively seek connections with partners outside the university walls. Currently, we are engaged in a collaboration with dramaturge Marieke Nooren and visual artist Elmo Vermijs, attempting to develop insights on what it could mean to (re)present non-human species in court.
