In the middle of the historical centre of Utrecht, enjoy a tasteful meal with (foreign) guests or a cosy drink with colleagues. In the Faculty Club kitchen our chef prepares daily seasonal dishes with a contemporary and creative twist. Check our menu for the latest creations of our chef. For a club special or a nice glass of wine by the fireplace you are in the right place in our lounge. And our drinks menu includes more than just 'bitterballen'!

Food Year 2025

This academic year, Future Food Utrecht, the Faculty Club and join forces to highlight each month a special dish paired with an in-depth story exploring the connection between food and science. A tasteful way to spark curiosity and discover how food shapes our future.

For October, the spotlight is on Les Voyageurs, a red wine from the organic winery Mourgues du Grès, located in the southern Rhône near the historic Roman city of Nîmes. The accompanying food & science story is written by Assistant Professor Dorota Kawa.

The Huiskamer is thé place to enjoy every moment of the day. 

Fresh, local, organic, seasonal & sustainable

Besides the preference for fresh, pure products, we only work with seasonal menus and ingredients. Chef Ton's team is good at what we call 'local globalisation', international dishes cooked in Utrecht with local and/or Dutch seasonal products. A local global cuisine!

* Prices may fluctuate due to the use of seasonal ingredients. A dish of the day costs €19.50 and a three-course menu €39.50 (vegetarian/vegan) or â‚¬42.50 (fish/meat).
