NeUUrodiversity Project
Welcome to Utrecht ľ¹Ï¸£ÀûÓ°ÊÓ’s central page about neurodiversity! This webpage is intended to inform students and teachers about the available resources and best practices to make sure that students and staff members of all neurotypes can feel welcome and supported at Utrecht ľ¹Ï¸£ÀûÓ°ÊÓ.
We use the term neurodiversity to refer to the diversity in neurotypes among people, in other words, the wide variety of ways that people think and understand the world around them. People with neurotypes such as autism, AD(H)D, dyslexia and many others are considered neurodivergent because they think and process the world around them in ways that differ from the majority of the population.
Neurodivergent people provide a valuable perspective that enriches the scientific world at the university, and as such should be supported in building and expressing their talents here at UU.
