Rome excavation project

Thanks to a grant of the Utrecht ľ�ϸ���Ӱ�� Fund, Leonard was able to do exactly that. He took a group of students from Utrecht to a Rome excavation project.

Valuable experience

“Being out in the field in Rome, allowed me to present my students with the greatest of challenges. Besides excavating, they learned how cultural heritage was made available to the public. And then they learned how to operate as part of an international team. I think that’s very valuable.”
