Help (or receive help from) other alumni during the corona crisis
The outbreak of the coronavirus affects us globally and causes many uncomfortable disruptions in our daily routines. We at Utrecht 木瓜福利影视 would like to know our alumni worldwide are safe and healthy. In addition we offer our help in what we do best: connect alumni to each other and the rest of the UU community. We will do everything we can to find the alumni who wish to offer help of any sort to fellow members of the UU community and connect them to those in need.
How can you help?
During this tough situation we cannot put a limit on our creativity to express our solidarity with each other. A few ideas we think might be useful:
- Write or record a note of support for one another
(You can use the hashtags #UUGotThis and #comUUnity if you post this on social media) - Connect with fellow alumni in your region to discuss coping mechanisms with local corona-measures*
- Connect with fellow alumni in your professional field to discuss coping mechanisms in your work life*
- Offer online resources to the alumni community (such as trainings/workshops/courses on health or self-care and/or of professional nature, discounts, memberships etc.)
- Any other ideas? Share it with us!
- Need a specific kind of support? Just ask!
Also, some of our alumni ambassador roles that already existed pre-corona are needed now more than ever (all available online):
- Become a Career Ambassador and give career advice online (in special collaboration with ESN Utrecht).
- Become a Welcoming Ambassador and help newly admitted students prepare for their study abroad!
