Unsure if you qualify for admission?
In order to properly assess whether you qualify for admission, it is important that we have the right information. It is therefore necessary that you apply through the regular admission procedure and submit the required documents. The Admissions Committee will look into your qualifications for admission and you will receive notification in the form of a letter of (non-, conditional or unconditional) acceptance.
There is no general pre-Master鈥檚 programme.
However, in some cases you may be able to do a short tailor-made pre-Master鈥檚 programme or a Summer School course to acquire knowledge or skills you currently do not have. This is for the Admissions Committee to decide.
In order to be considered for a pre-Master鈥檚 programme/Summer School course you need to have most required knowledge and skills. Only more advanced knowledge concerning psychology at the exit level of the Bachelor鈥檚 degree (via pre-Master鈥檚 programme) and/or multivariate statistics (possible via a Summer School course) can in some cases be acquired in this way. It is not possible to do a pre-Master鈥檚 or Summer School to acquire any other required knowledge or skill.
Please always apply for the Master鈥檚 programme first. If the Admissions Committee determines that you do not meet all entry requirements, they will decide if you are eligible for a pre-Master鈥檚 and, if so, what your pre-Master鈥檚 programme will look like.
Please note: a pre-Master's Programme is only available for students with a Dutch educational background who do not need housing, and who do not have or require a residence permit for study purposes. In addition, the language of instruction might be in Dutch.
