The study track consists of four phases, a full 2-year programme of 120 ECTS. During the first year (phases 1 and 2), you will first be introduced to the main topics of sustainability, social innovation and transdisciplinary research. Phase 2 goes more in-depth, where you take modules from one of the four thematic tracks ‘Water’, ‘Life and Health’, ‘Food’ and ‘Energy and Sustainable Cities’.

During the second year of the programme, you will put your newly acquired knowledge into action. A newly planned internship phase allows you to expand your knowledge and expertise while working with a company, government agency, NGO or research organisation.
