SIG Scholarship of Teaching and Learning

Are you interested in the learning of your students and want to know (if) you’re using the best teaching methods for that purpose? Do you want to base your choices for a teaching method on more than the experiences of someone else, the gut feeling you have that it will work, or it being a hype (‘everybody uses it’)? Whether or not you already undertook action, you probably have a lot of questions.  How do I begin with a systematical research-informed approach to my teaching? How do I find educational literature about my teaching problem or question?

The SIG Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) is an informal community of teachers that are interested in research-informed teaching in their own classroom, want to provide evidence of or get insight in the learning of their own students. The SIG is place where you can share your experiences and ideas with other teachers from all disciplines.
