Your personal data will be processed in order to: 1. identify the person in question as an employee and/or student at Utrecht ľ¹Ï¸£ÀûÓ°ÊÓ & UMCU, as it is the target group for our services. 2. Provide said support and services. This mainly includes handling questions, requests and problems.

Processing is limited to name- and component data, related to working and/or studying at the UU. The following data is requested and/or processed for students: First name, Last name, E-mail address, Solis-ID, Faculty, Department. Additionally, teachers will be requested to provide a telephone number and office location.

We use Topdesk as a base registration system for our services. We have a retention period of four years.

Personal data will not be shared with third parties.

There will be no data transfer to countries outside the European Economic Area.

The CAT processes the above personal data on the basis of 'e. Necessary for fulfilling a task of public interest' within the framework of Article 1.7A WHOO (Higher Education and Research Act). Processing of personal data takes place under the services of the pillar 'educational innovation', with the aim of innovating and improving higher education. This applies to both students and teachers.

As a data subject, you have certain rights. Namely, the right of access, the right to erasure, the right to restriction of processing, the right to object. If you wish to exercise these rights, you can address your request to privacy@uu.nl. It is possible that you will be asked for proof of identity during this procedure.

If you make an objection, it will be determined on a case-by-case basis whether this objection can, or must be met. Utrecht ľ¹Ï¸£ÀûÓ°ÊÓ will cease processing personal data unless there are urgent legitimate grounds that outweigh your interests, rights and freedoms.

There is no automated decision-making. That is to say, decisions are never made without human intervention. There is also no profiling.
