The Pathways to Sustainability Conference 2023 will take place on 4 April. Imagine you are in 2060. The planet is a completely different place compared to the past, the 2020s. What began as a need for change in the ‘transition twenties’ became a deep transformation, both of nature and of society.

Wrap up of the Pathways to Sustainability conference 2024 'At Home?'

We discussed many aspects of the notion of belonging, identity and place attachment.

The concept Social Impact was explored from a variety of perspectives, in an attempt to move away from ‘impact’ as a buzzword.

Participants discovered the concept of the More-than-Human; What does it mean? How do definitions vary across individuals and academic disciplines? What implications arise when humans attempt to represent the More-than-Human?

Participants in the breakout session Promoting Behavioural Change explored four behavioural interventions.

Participants reflected on whether our current legal, economic, and democratic rules are up to the task of creating a sustainable future. Are these rules helping us move forward, or are they standing in the way?
