This project investigates how to rebalance the data asymmetry between governments and businesses and how private sector data is used in government decisions on societal issues.

The project aims to explain why problem-shifting occurs between international environmental treaty regimes and to assess its systemic effects. Building on these findings, it also aims to offer innovative governance solutions to ensure that our global environmental efforts have a net positive impact.

The PLANETSTEWARDS project consists of the following interrelated objectives: Analyze the different approaches of planetary stewardship taking into consideration actors, values, and institutions; Compare the different approaches and unfold the intricate dynamics of their co-existence; Explain how the approaches lead to positive and negative impacts on Earth and in space in terms of environmental and social dimensions; Specify the criteria for earth-space sustainability and propose transformative policy actions.

Intestinal damage can lead to the onset of different diseases that are life-threatening in the worst cases. Alessandro Cutilli studied the role of T cells in this intestinal damage.

How can we achieve a better distribution of welfare? And how can we make well-being future-proof? Op 7 november sluit het Selfregulationlab twee meerjarige onderzoeksprojecten af binnen de Regiodeal Foodvalley.

In de herfstvakantie staan de onderzoekers van het Self-regulation Lab in het Universiteitsmuseum Utrecht. Met hun project “LEGO bouwen voor de wetenschap” vragen ze museumbezoekers om samen aan de slag te gaan en een tuintje te bouwen van LEGO.

On 26 October, de Nacht van de Nacht will take place for the 20th time. The aim is to work together with as many companies, municipalities, institutions and people as possible to make the Netherlands darker and more sustainable.
