Livestream Webinar: Racism and Discrimination at the housing market
More than one third of the rental housing agents in the Netherlands are prepared to exclude people with foreign names from the properties they offer (). In this webinar we will take a closer look at unequal treatment at the housing market and discuss the wider societal impact of these processes of exclusion. We also zoom in on the specific situation of the city of Utrecht and raise the question what can be done to make the Dutch housing market more inclusive.
This webinar is part of a new series organized by the Focus Area Migration and Societal Change discussing the major trends concerning migration, racism and discrimination. For more information on the series, visit this link.
