About the Integrity Thursdays
Academic awareness of the need to more openly discuss research integrity issues is increasing. Researchers, university boards, integrity committees & academic publishers all contribute to stimulate a positive research culture. Also within educational programmes the relevance of addressing responsible conduct of research is more widely acknowledged.
Programme and target group
We offer an interactive and inspiring programme on integrity issues in academic communities, varying from photoshopping illustrations in manuscripts to a ‘division proof of integrity’, a theatre play, movies and a challenge for students to stimulate awareness on all kinds of questions that can arise in practice.
The offer is there for researchers from all disciplines, managers, students and people from the city of Utrecht. We indicate for each event to whom it most applies.
Organisation
The Integrity Thursdays is a joint venture between the Descartes Centre, the Ethics Institute and the Freudenthal Institute. They present this programme on Thursdays in the fall and winter. Some events are co-organised with and the (NRIN).
