Bachelor's minor Complex Systems

The minor Complex Systems is aimed at a broad audience of undergraduate students. It gives bachelor’s students the opportunity to gain knowledge about concepts such as emergence, self-organization and adaptation. Interdisciplinarity plays an important role in this minor. The students see the application of complex systems models in different disciplines and corporate with students that are enrolled in a different major.

The minor consists of four courses: an introductory course, two advanced courses, and a final project.
 

  • Level 1: (course code: BETA-B1CS). Period 3 of Utrecht ľ¹Ï¸£ÀûÓ°ÊÓ's academic year (usually from February to April)
  • Level 2: (course code: BETA-B2CSA). Period 1 of Utrecht ľ¹Ï¸£ÀûÓ°ÊÓ's academic year (usually from September to November)
  • Elective from the following list:
    • Level 2: (course code: B-B2THEC05). Period 1.
    • Level 3: (course code: B-B3COMB10). Period 3.
    • Level 3: (course code: NS-376B). Period 3.
  • Level 3: (course code: BETA-B3CS). Period 4 of Utrecht ľ¹Ï¸£ÀûÓ°ÊÓ's academic year (usually from May to July)
