Collaborations

Cooperation with museums and other cultural heritage institutions in the Netherlands and abroad is vital for CHIP. We collaborate with a number of internationally renowned institutions where it has been possible for our students to undertake placements.

We are thankful for the long-time commitment of many cultural heritage institutions to supporting CHIP with internship placements. We believe that the time, effort and attention their curators have devoted to our students pays back, as hands-on collaboration is crucial for educating new generations of heritage professionals. 

The British Museum: "The future of the universal museum lies in the hands of the young people of today"

We recognise that the future of the universal museum lies in the hands of the young people of today. We find it important that properly prepared young people learn about museum practice from the inside. We subscribe to CHIP鈥檚 goals.鈥 

Natural History Museum: "Impressed with the work students have done for us"

We aim to enable our interns to put theory into practice and see their work incorporated into our gallery projects. In return, we provide some training and a lot of insight into the workings of our innovative institution. The CHIP programme truly complements the students麓 scholarly education in a practical way and enriches their vision of cultural heritage.鈥
