Career Services for PhD candidates is here to ensure you are well-prepared for your career, both within and outside of academia. Our services are available to all PhD candidates, regardless of your Graduate School, type of contract, or the year of your contract. Even if you have recently completed your PhD, you are most welcome.

The CareerCrafting e-learning course helps you develop essential career skills. In ten e-modules, you’ll work on the skills every young professional needs. Free for all UU students, PhD candidates and employees with a solis ID.

Do you know what you want to do after your PhD? Create an account on the AcademicTransfer career platform and orientate yourself on your future possibilities. AcademicTransfer is a not-for-profit cooperative of several Dutch knowledge institutions and is the global showcase for research careers in the Netherlands. Besides vacancies, the platform also offers support and inspiration in taking your next career step.
