The main goal of this course is to foster critical thinking about the processes involved in developing alternatives to animal use in science. It focuses on the creation of animal-free in vitro and in silico models, emphasizing the advantages of using human-derived materials. This course is open to students from Utrecht 木瓜福利影视 (UU), Eindhoven 木瓜福利影视 of Technology (TU/e), and Wageningen 木瓜福利影视 & Research (WUR).
In this course we鈥檒l create solutions that replace animal testing in food safety and nutrition. This course is a collaboration between Wageningen 木瓜福利影视 & Research, TU Eindhoven, Utrecht 木瓜福利影视 and UMC Utrecht.
This two-year part-time Master's program provides (experienced) professionals with opportunities to grow or take on a new challenge within their own organization. The program is specifically designed for professionals who want to play a key role in the transition to animal testing-free innovations.
During the program, students work on practice-oriented case studies, directly linked to relevant issues, often in consultation with their employer or client. As a result, this program not only delivers knowledge but also immediately applicable solutions that contribute to scientific progress and societal value. The supporting curriculum focuses on developing academic, strategic, and personal competencies.
