Reminder: Compete for the UU Team Award

Do you and your team work together to improve education? Or do you know a team that has delivered an exceptional performance? Compete for the UU Team Award.

This year, the first UU Team Award will be awarded to a team that has made an extraordinary impact on our education. The team that wins this award may submit a nomination for the Dutch Education award on behalf of UU/ This award is an appreciation for education teams that deliver a special performance in education. Nominated teams have a chance of winning an amount of â‚¬1.2 million, €800,000 or €500,000 (total €2.5 million).

In 2021, the Mixed Classroom team from Urban Futures Studio won the second prize of the Dutch Higher Education Award. In 2022 UCR’s project Going Glocal competed, but unfortunately did not make it through to the final round. In 2023 the team of The New Utrecht School has submitted a nomination. For next year, there are new chances to win the prize!

For 2024, UU may again submit one nomination for a successful education team that has made an outstanding or exceptional contribution to the renewal and/or improvement of higher education in the past four years. This year’s selection of the nomination will be done through awarding the UU Team Award.
