Study programme
Human Computer Interaction is a two-years research oriented programme (120 EC). EC stands for European Credits, where 1 EC equals 28 hours of work.
Curriculum
The curriculum consists of 77 EC of course part, followed by a 43 EC research part in year two.
Course part (77 EC)
The course part of this programme consists of:
- 4 compulsory courses (32 EC)
- 6 Elective courses (45 EC)

Research part (43 EC)
The majority of the 2nd year is spend on conducting a research project and writing your Master鈥檚 thesis (40 EC research project, 3 EC Colloquium series).The project concludes with writing a thesis and possibly a publishable paper based on your research. Thesis results are presented and discussed during the thesis defence.
The research part can be started when the student has completed all mandatory courses except Dilemmas of the scientist (FI-MHPSDL2) and has completed at least 67.5 EC of primary and secondary electives.
