For me, GSS laid the basis for my current career path.

I would say GSS has helped me become more open-minded, curious and, keen to understand different perspectives before making decisions or judgement.

GSS sparked my interest in water-related subjects, more specifically in understanding coastal systems’ dynamics.

In GSS, system thinking is really important, meaning to not only look at one cause or consequence but seeing how a lot of factors can influence a problem, while influencing each other as well.

For the first time, researchers have conducted a large-scale study on the microbiome of our upper airways.

The EU-funded IHEN project has been launched. IHEN will develop a roadmap for future exposome research, provide tools and training opportunities and increase the impact of future studies in this field.
