Ineke Maas studies trends and country differences in intergenerational mobility, career mobility, and marital mobility. In addition, she has published on the integration of immigrants, inequality of educational opportunities, and gender inequality.
Since 2012 she is also Professor at the Department of Sociology, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, Chair: Long term trends in social openness and exclusion
