Viet Seger Weaver-Stevens is an assistant-professor at Utrecht 木瓜福利影视 School of Governance with a specific focus on the governance of violence and integrity in sports. Before he worked for the Mulier Institute, Erasmus 木瓜福利影视 Rotterdam, and the 木瓜福利影视 of Antwerp. The core of his research focusses on how sports as a subsystem of society deals with integrity issues. He particularly looks at how grassroots sports organizations deal with cases of sexual abuse, dynamics of criminal interference, and matters of inclusion and diversity. Viet Seger studied Public Administration (bachelor) at the Erasmus 木瓜福利影视 Rotterdam and participated in the Research Master program 鈥淧ublic Administration and Organisational Sciences鈥 of the 木瓜福利影视 of Utrecht (cum laude). He did his PhD at the 木瓜福利影视 of Antwerp. Viet Seger鈥檚 PhD thesis was shortlisted for the Van Poelje Award 2018 (award for best Flemish and Dutch Public Administration thesis). Besides teaching and doing scientific research, Viet Seger regularly does consultancy work. Throughout the years, he has done consultancy work for different stakeholders like, the International Olympic Committee, Disability Sports the Netherlands, Ministry of Welfare, Health and Sports, Ministry of Justice and Safety, and various municipalities in the Netherlands.
