I am a PhD candidate in the Brain Plasticity Research Group under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Hilleke Hulshoff Pol and Dr. Jalmar Teeuw. This PhD project is part of Growing Up Together in Society (GUTS), a consortium of researchers from different fields working together to understand how young people grow up in a complex society. In this consortium, my research centers on understanding brain development over time on a structural and molecular level. I work with longitudinal MRI and behavioral data from large-scale cohort studies, including the YOUth cohort in Utrecht. Through this work, I aim to uncover how brain plasticity contributes to individual developmental trajectories during adolescence.
