In 2023 I joined the Ethics Institute at Utrecht ľ¹Ï¸£ÀûÓ°ÊÓ as a PhD-Candidate. My work is on the topic of Pandemic Response & Preparedness and I will work on the question of what we owe to the (especially) vulnerable during pandemics.

The project is supervised by Lucie White, Chris Wareham and Marcel Verweij. The project is made possible by the ‘Bestuursakkoord’ between the Ministry of OCW and the universities.

I obtained my BSc of Medicine at Utrecht ľ¹Ï¸£ÀûÓ°ÊÓ, my MSc Vitality & Ageing at Leiden ľ¹Ï¸£ÀûÓ°ÊÓ and my MA Philosophy, Bioethics & Health at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. My MSc thesis concerned an empirical interview study on the role of relatives in Shared Decision Making and my MA thesis concerned a theoretical investigation on how we should understand the concept of solidarity.
