PhD candidate with the Economic and Social History research group since September 2024. My PhD research focuses on the co-evolution of early years childcare, parental leave and women鈥檚 labour force participation. This research is part of the SCOOP (Sustainable Cooperation) research programme. Before starting as a PhD candidate in Utrecht I completed both my bachelor鈥檚 in History and the Research Master Historical Studies at Radboud 木瓜福利影视 in Nijmegen. During my studies my research interests mainly centered around family relations, parenthood, gender roles, marriage and partner selection in the nineteenth and twentieth century. I wrote my master thesis on changing cultural representations and personal experiences of motherhood and fatherhood in the Netherlands (1960-2005).
