Are you a journalist looking for one of our experts or for an interesting story? Stephan van Meulebrouck is happy to help you on your way. And vice versa: he likes to help researchers 'translate' their research for a wide audience, to find a suitable platform to draw attention to their research, or to identify interesting developments in society.
Activities include:
- writing news and press releases
- receiving journalists
- organising press events
- monitoring the Faculty鈥檚 media outreach
- advising researchers prior to media appearances
In addition, he maintains contacts between the Faculty of Geosciences and affiliated study associations. He is also involved on behalf of the Faculty in the annual Weekend of Science.
