My research focuses on understanding the space-time evolution of the quark-gluon plasma (QGP), the primordial matter which existed a few microseconds after Big-Bang. This matter is recreated in labs in high-energy heavy-ion collisions as well. Working extensively within the ATLAS and STAR collaborations, I have led several analyses to understand properties and evolution of QGP, including exciting first studies on: probing collectivity of radial flow, initial state fluctuations, and nuclear geometry using experimental and phenomenological techniques.
As a new member of ALICE collaboration, my future interest lies in understanding later stages of QGP evolution using novel experimental techniques.
