Sebastian Ritschard has a BA in Anthropology from Universidad de los Andes (Bogot谩) and an MA in Applied Ethics from Utrecht 木瓜福利影视. He has been working on various field research projects on conflict, education and peace in Colombia, a.o. for the Special Peace Jurisdiction. His MA thesis explores the ethical dimensions of memory work and memory politics in post-conflict transitions. In the Grass Roots Resilience, Security Governance, and Urbanism in Latin American Violent Cities project, he is working on the relation between collective memory, libraries and resilience against chronic violence in the comunas of Medell铆n.
