My primary field of research is Renaissance literature, specializing in early modern women’s writing, manuscript cultures and the history of science. I have published in these areas in the journals, Early Modern Women: An Interdisciplinary Journal, The Seventeenth Century, Women’s Writing, and Textual Cultures. My monograph, Women Writers and Alchemy in Early Modern Britain , is forthcoming with Cambridge ľ¹Ï¸£ÀûÓ°ÊÓ Press.

I am currently completing the book,The Reception and Circulation of Women’s Writing in Anglophone Manuscript Miscellanies, 1550–1700 (co-authored with Marie-Louise Coolahan and Erin McCarthy). 

Prior to joining Utrecht ľ¹Ï¸£ÀûÓ°ÊÓ, I was Marie Sklodowska-Curie Fellow (2019-21) at Leiden ľ¹Ï¸£ÀûÓ°ÊÓ; European Research Council Postdoctoral Researcher (2014-18) for RECIRC: The Reception and Circulation of Early Modern Women’s Writing, 1550-1700 () and Modern Humanities Research Association Fellow (2013-14) for the Catalogue of English Literary Manuscripts, 1450-1700 (https://celm.folger.edu/).
