I am working for the AI4Intelligence project. In this interdisciplinary project we aim to research and develop AI tools for dealing with large volumes of multimodal data in Police investigation and intelligence situations 鈥� going from this data to trustworthy evidence that can be used in court.
Within this project, my research focuses on creating a set of knowledge-based AI techniques that will improve the efficiency and effectiveness of intelligence professionals when reasoning with and making sense out of complex cases and provide transparency and explainability of the evidence-creation process to other parties in the criminal justice chain (lawyers, judges, prosecution), allowing them to contest AI-generated evidence.
