Within the Centre for Academic Teaching and Learning, Rik is the programme manager of Educational Scholarship. In this capacity he coordinates the Educational Scholarship team. This team:
- Organises activities that contribute to an academic approach to education
- Supports the Higher Education Research focus area, by organising community events and providing grants
- Organises the research on education track at the OnderwijsFestival
- Support the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning grants.
In addition, as a PhD researcher I am researching how higher education institutions can stimulate and facilitate educational scholarship of teachers.
