Pascalle Paumen is a PhD Candidate at the Copernicus Institute of Sustainable Development. As part of the NWO-funded ResponScale project, she studies the responsible scaling of digital innovations in the field of mental healthcare, where there is a need for improving accessibility, efficiency, and quality of care.  

Prior to this, Pascalle obtained a BA in Digital Society (Minor in Psychology) and a Research MSc in Cultures of Arts, Science and Technology from Maastricht ľ¹Ï¸£ÀûÓ°ÊÓ. Following her interest in emerging healthcare technologies, her master thesis explored the underlying assumptions about ‘normal’ grieving embedded in framings and portrayals of AI grief technologies.
