Myrthe is a Health Scientist and works as a junior researcher at the Department of Interdisciplinary Social Sciences, at Minding the Gap.
Minding the Gap is a research project on the mental health of adolescents (ages 12-25) who experience financial challenges, such as poverty. Together with adolescents, parents, professionals, and policymakers, we aim to investigate the underlying issues and how we can improve the mental health of adolescents experiencing financial challenges. As part of the scientific team, Myrthe is co-responsible for organizing gatherings, collecting and analyzing research data, writing up the research findings, and maintaining contact with the research partners.
